I am Andrew Zeng （Chinese name: Zeng Qing Duo). I am student in the grade 12 of International Department of Beijing 101 High School. And in the forth quarter of this year of 2026, I am applying for the collage or university education abroad. Here is my personal portfolio as below…

In this summer, I visited a county middle school in suburban area of Yue Yang, Hunan province, southern China. I met many middle school students and shared with them one of my favorite movies, Inside Out. I introduced some psychology knowledge about this movie. We had actively discussion and ideas exchange.

Screened “Inside Out” for 150 students; led a 40-min discussion on psychology, emotional regulation & managing negative emotions under academic stress

Besides the movie, I made preparation as much as I can from my speech outline to the presentation slides. I am proud of my performance and excited about he interest the junior students showed during the discussion on the class. I would call it a success.

I also visited some admirable teacher. It is a great opportunity to go further for my social practice in this summer. I had one on one interviews with some experienced teachers and asked many questions and got patient answers from all of them. I was touched so much by their experience and respectable virtues.

I made a short video to memorize this trip. In the future, I hope I can be one of them proudly.

Reading is one of my favorite thing . Since I was in kindergarten, my dad and mom often read sotry books for me. It was a wonderful time for both me and them. Gradually, they started to teach me English during reading time. I believe it was very important to the fondemental sense of English language and would like to share this precious experience to others. I entered a reading support program for Inner Mongolia. I put over hundred hours in this meaningful program.

During the program, I found it a really challenge on how to get attention from kids below 9 years old. They are so cute and I love them.

I am so fascinated in psychology and initiated a club with my classmates. We want to introduce knowledge about this academic field to more people. As the founder, writer and editor, I built a website to share articles we wrote about media psychology.

I had been playing shuttlecock since Elementary school. It is a Chinese traditional sport and very helpful to eyesight improving. I really want to share this beneficial and interesting sport to my classmates. So I started a Shuttlecock Kicking Club.

Grew club to 30 members through weekly lunch meetups & a promo webpage; hosted an all-school tournament; made shuttlecock kicking part of campus life

I made a recruiting video and posted it on the club homepage in my personal blog site.

I joined the House Qilin of my school in the first year I entered the high school and became the captain on my second year in this house. I love House Qilin! As the captain, I led the house team achieve the champion of Regetta 2026(Paper Boat Match). I was the main designer and cheer leader. The exciting match day will be in my mind for ever.
